Rents are on the Up in Dublin!

Sunday Business Post 7/07/13

Emma Kennedy of the Sunday Business Post has written that rents are increasing in Dublin and that maybe now is the time to buy in the capital. According to figures released by DAFT.ie last week Dublin sales figures have risen by 22.2% in the last 6 months!

Figures released by DAFT.ie in May indicated that the average national rent was up by 2.7% since last year, marking the first time since 2007 that rents have increased for three consecutive quarters. In Dublin a drop in the number of available properties has resulted in demand outstripping supply. Something that will not be seen in Wexford Rentals & Property Management for some time since there are 167 properties available on Daft.ie to rent in Wexford town alone, writes Louise Morton. Daft.ie have seen rents drop in Limerick and Waterford.
